Subjects Taught
7th Grade AP English

I graduated from Independence High School in 2002.  I attended NWCC, completing my associate’s degree in Elementary Education in 2010. After Northwest, I attended the University of Mississippi, and graduated in May 2013, earning my bachelor’s degree in Elementary with an emphasis in English and Art. I have endorsements in Elementary K-6 as well as English 7-12.

I was born in Long Beach, CA, and attended several schools in Nevada and Arizona. When I was in the 5th grade, my parents packed up and moved to Dyersburg, TN. Once again, after my 6th grade year, we jumped ship to the big ole town of Wyatte, MS, my hometown. I attended Independence High, graduating in 2002.

I was enlisted in the Army Reserves from 2003-2007 as a Unit Supply Specialist (92Y).

I reenlisted in 2015 and am currently a Sergeant in the 655th Transportation Company based in Millington, TN. My current job in the Reserves is Motor Transport Operator (88M)

To say that I am blessed is an understatement. My favorite things include: the Los Angeles Rams, Carl Azuz, and my kids.
