Hey y'all, hey! I am so excited to be your child's ELA teacher for the 23-24 School year! My name is Chasity Black and this is my 6th year here at SMS. I am originally from Oxford, MS but I'm a Bulldog at heart (Hail State!) I have two beautiful children named John and Morgan, a dog named Taco, and a cat named Boss. I love old horror movies, and Harry Potter (the kids can tell you). I am really big into the arts: I act and I sing. It's my second love :-) My favorite foods are Watermelon and French Fries. I'm hoping to have a MAGICAL year with you and your kiddos!
