My name is Shakevia Jones, and I am very excited to teach Cyber Foundations 1 at Southaven Middle School! I am from Columbus, Mississippi which is my hometown. I enjoy teaching, traveling, reading, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. I am married to my great husband. We have a six year old son named Nicholas. Some of my favorite snacks are chocolate peanut M&Ms, Doritos chips, and cheese popcorn. My favorite restaurants are Longhorn, Dominos, and Red Lobster.

 I am a graduate of Mississippi University for Women where I received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Also, I have a Master's degree in Education as well.

This 2022-2023 school year is my eleventh year teaching. I have taught fourth grade for six years before teaching middle school.
