Speech-Language Pathologist

I received my bachelor's and master's degree from the University of South Alabama. I became a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) because of my passion to help others, especially children, with special needs. I, myself, have had my own challenges with a speech impediment. I am a person who stutters. I went to therapy from age 4 through 10th grade. I went back to therapy in college to refresh my techniques which helped me become a better therapist. I try to continously use my techniques in and outside of therapy. I strive to be a better therapist and learn more and more every day. I can relate to a point to anyone with anyone who needs speech therapy since I have had speech therapy for my stutter.
