Experience

My first teaching assignment after graduating from the University of Memphis was Vance Annex, a school for pregnant girls in the Memphis City School system. There I taught English, economics, and American History.  I have also taught English at Overton High School, reading at Crump Elementary, and English and social studies at Graceland and White Station Junior High Schools.   I enjoy the flexibilty I have in teaching SPOTLIGHT___not being limited to one subject.  It never gets boring.  There is alway something new to learn along with the students.  I love challenging the students to reach their potential.
