After graduating high school, I attended Southwest Community College for a year and transferred to the University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM). I graduated UTM in 2011 with a degree in Integrated Studies K-6 (Elementary Education). Later I decided to become certified in middle school math and obtained the certification to teach 7th and 8th grade math.  In May of this year, I graduated with my masters degree in education.

I have worked with children in some capacity since I was seventeen years old. I decided at the age to become a teacher. After graduating college I taught a year of Pre-K and then a year of fifth grade at a small private school in Cordova, TN. I  taught at LCMS for three years and this will be my first year at SMS.  At LCMS I taught sixth grade social studies and science and seventh grade math. I love teaching math. This will be my fifth year teaching.

My name is Ms. Propst. There are many things that I enjoy doing. I love spending time with my niece and nephew. My niece is six years old and will be in the first grade this year in Hernando and my nephew is four years old. They call me PamKay (I love it). I have an older and younger sister. My older sister is married and is the mother of my niece and nephew. I live with my younger sister in Cordova, TN. My hobbies would include traveling (when possible), reading, and going to the lake. Most of my free time is spent with my family.
