I graduated from Towson University in Towson, MD with my B.S in Elementary Education in 2011

I completed my M.ed in School Counseling at Loyola University in Baltimore, MD in 2015.

I have played many roles in the field of education. I started my journey as a student teacher in the Baltimore area, teaching grades 1 and 5. Upoun graduating I substitue taught for sometime. Shortly after I became a special education teacher at a specliazed school for students with disabilities. This is where I discovered my love and passion for special education! While teaching I completed my Masters in School Counseling and then began my school counseling career with Baltimore City Public Schools. I have recently relocated to the Memphis area and am excited to be back in the classroom teaching!

I am Ms. Townsley, and I am excited for another year withSouthaven Middle School's Special Education Department!

Go Chargers!

In my role at Southaven, I will be providing services to inclusion students in 7th grade. As well as serving as MET chair for the special education department.

I am a native Marylander from Baltimore and a happy recent Memphis area transplant :)

I have an adorable and spoiled cat named Boh and love pizza, cooking, reading and history.
