Shaquita Anderson

         Hello! My name is Shaquita Anderson. I am a proud Southaven Alumni and resident. I graduated from Northwest Mississippi Community College with my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts in 2011. I also graduated from the University of Mississippi with my Bachelor's Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies while minoring in English, History, and Education in 2020 and Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching in 2022. I am currently licensed in English and endorsed in History. 

          I am the mother of a little boy named Ahmar. My favorite colors are pink and green, favorite food is pizza, and my favorite hobbies is shirt designing, dancing, and photography. 

         I am a proud member of the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Like many of my founders, I believed education is important and became the first in my immediate family to complete my degrees and join the education field. I love my students, but  I am hard on my students. I expect respect, I give responsibilities, and I meet my students where they are at and celebrate with them as they grow.
